Ecoya Candle I Review

I know that this post is late but because it's the holidays I didn't even realize it was the weekend until it was over. yes I know your all thinking Zoe there are NO EXCUSES (just kidding) but lets get into today's post, Its all about the Ecoya candles.

I first stumbled across these candles a few months ago while shopping and since then I have never looked back. they come in so many scents that are different from from your typical candles such as French Pear and Sweet Pea & Jasmine 

generically vanilla scented candles usually all smell the same and i often find them quite boring so instead I choose something else, until one day I came across the revolution of candles(okay a bit over dramatic) but seriously they smell absolutely amazing. The candles burn really well and when you walk in you can smell it instantly. I love the glass container the candles are in because when thy are lit it makes the candle look really beautiful as well as having an amazing smell. the wax lasts a very long time and even though I got my candle months ago and I use it almost everyday the majority of the candle still remains. 

They are a little pricey but you pay for what you get and these are definitely worth every dollar spent

Review I Crabtree & Evelyn

So I am totally in love with Crabtree & Evelyn products they are totally reliable and they smell absolutely amazing. 

I especially love the rose water scent rather than the rose scent because it's lighter and more summery I find but since i'm a rebel I don't exactly use them for what they are meant for e.g. using shower gel for a bubble bath is not exactly what your meant to do then again I do this with a lot of things as well and I doubt that it really changes anything. I always buy smaller sizes at first because if I don't like it I don't really want it sitting around but I have found in particular the rose water perfume is probably my most used item at the moment.

Not only do they do products but they also do things like jewellery boxes etc I picked up this beautiful glass box that I love so much and its so useful, it goes with everything so I can change the colours in my room and it will still go which I really look for when I buy little things for my room because it just bugs me having it there and not matching. Of course you can also get these really beautiful pastels as well that are also really beautiful.

Belle et Sebastian Part 2

So as you know I just went to the movie belle and Sebastian for the first time and i have to say i loved it. although i was so worried that we would loose the dog(spoiler alert we don't) as i said i was super excited and it ended up being just as fantastic as i thought it would be. I LOVE DOGS so the worst thing for me would be if the dog died but it was so touching and so nice to watch. i recently lost my own family dog and i really miss him but getting to watch another dog again  was really enjoyable because she reminded me of my own dog. So far it is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time and that is saying something because a lot of the time i enjoy a movie but it is not one of my favorites.

i would happily tell you to definitely watch it if you can because it is the sweetest thing and i just loved it sooooo much.

Belle et Sebastian

who could not fall in love with that dog?

So today I am doing two blog posts because i'm going to write about a movie I am seeing and ill give you my opinion after. but for now i'm going to tell you guys what I think it will be like. firstly its probably a good idea to tell you what the movie is Belle et Sebastian, you may or not have heard of that title before but it is a french movie about a young boy and a dog which the village says is evil but he becomes friends with it and he protects it.

I love french movies of course(i mean who doesn't) and so I am sure i'll be able to come back to you guys with a good review. The movie is in french(with subtitles) which I am very pleased about because I love hearing authentic french(there are only so many french speakers in New Zealand). A
lso because I am learning it watching french movies actually helps with my pronunciation which is a plus as well.

I am so looking forward to it and hopefully it will be fantastic (I am a little worried I am getting too excited)

ED SHEERAN

If you don't like Ed Sheeran you should probably click off now, but for the rest of you today's post is all about Ed Sheeran(obviously). i'd say i started listening to Ed Sheeran when his first album came out and since then i have listened to every song that comes out. 

today i discovered a few more that i didn't even know about(i then spent the next hours listening to the songs). it seems to me that they are getting better and better, i am definitely loving his more recent songs rather than his older songs. don't get me wrong i love all his songs but its just getting better and better am i right?. 

My favorite song is his album X is of course 'Stay With Me' i love the song so much and because i play piano i always love listening to songs with a piano background. it reminds me of some of the older stuff where it is just him singing with an instrument and i absolutely love it!!!!!!.

BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!!!!!

I know everyone is going to hate me for saying this but I don't like New York best sellers. Every time everyone is raving about a new book I find myself actually not really enjoying it. I mean I’ll read them but I just don't fall in love with them like some people do and I find myself saying that they were great just so I don't end up having someone say in a condescending tone "you don't like it...?". the truth is I love enjoying a book that no one knows about or really cares about and I am sure most of you are wondering Zoe why is that? But really I love that it’s almost something that is just mine. This all sounds crazy and I’m sure your like gosh this person is lame but really then I have no spoilers. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with liking certain books and yeah I still enjoy reading them because I love to read but sometimes it’s just fantastic to get to read something no one else had mentioned and I get to then develop my own opinion on the book rather than having it clouded by other people around you.

Majority of the time I think the reason I don't enjoy them is because I expect them to be the greatest book of all time because it must be if it did so well which is why when I read books nobody knows about I don't have high expectations.

I have always been someone who once they find a good book and starts reading it starts to read it at any free moment I have and then while reading I want it to end because for some reason I like to know what happens and I feel like I have achieved something when I do eventually finish but then when I do actually finish I end up being upset. it has always annoyed me that I do this and I try to tell myself Zoe slow down and just enjoy reading rather than going as quickly as you can so you can finish and know what happens but I guess it is the way I am however I think that is why once I read a book I can't just read it once I end up reading it at least a few times afterwards or the latest book becomes a fall back book and I read random parts. It is almost a good thing that I want to finish them and want them to end because then I still really enjoy when I read it again and second and third time while other people might lose interest in the book.

I have always been a slow reader, I read a book as slow as I talk so I find I read a lot slower than my friends and family. the reason is when I read faster which I can actually do it feels rushed and the words don't sink in so that pretty much just go over my head and so I have to re-read parts over again and then once I get to a later part and the author might mention a particular character that was not talked about a lot I either have to work really hard to remember what character it was or just no understand that part of the book.

although I have always loved books and even more recently I find that these problems don't really affect people that much and I am just having a little bit of a tantrum about it when it doesn't matter. But since I have talked so much about books I figure I should tell you what my favorite book it, now this could be a really common book but even so I have never heard anyone talk about it so I loved finding.
