My Smoothie Recipe

Yes its Monday, yet again I missed the goal for posts but I have an excuse. I guess you could call it bloggers block. So I needed an extra day for… inspiration among many ideas and thoughts I hope to share with you guys is my TOP SECRET (but not really) smoothie recipe.
I love this recipe because it’s packed full of goodness and better yet its delicious. I never put ice-cream in my smoothies because I try to keep them as healthy as possible (however you can add whatever you want) so let’s kick this off.

♥ 1 cup of mixed berries
♥1 banana
♥¼ cup of soy milk (you can use any milk you wish)
♥½ cup of orange juice
♥1-2 mandarins depending on their size

Make sure you put the liquids in the bottom first so it is easier on the blades
Serve and enjoy

Happy Monday Lovelies

Ohinetahi Garden Adventure

During the recent school holidays I traveled to the Ohinetahi Garden near Christchurch, New Zealand and it was absolutely amazing. We originally were just planning to go down to Akaroa but when my Mum saw the sign she instantly got excited and we decided we HAD to see it. My Mum had read about this garden before and she had always dreamed of getting to see so for her this was a dream come true.

The gardens were so beautiful, they had an amphitheater over looking the river and hills and tracks around the entire estate. They haves towers, lookouts, the beautiful house, pool, expansive lawns to sum it all up it is heaven on earth.

It was a gorgeous day with a blue sky and singing birds and to top it all off we met the woman who founded the garden along with created others as well, she made that garden what it was. We even got to pick fresh plums.

It was probably one of the best days of my life and if any of you ever get the chance please visit it is it one of New Zealands finest gardens.

If you have anything you want me to write about leave it in the comments
